The dimensions, including the entrance hole, are correct for both. The house features a wooden predator guard to keep out starlings, squirrels and other undesirables. The small floor discourages sparrow nests.

These birds love open woodlands and pastures. They breed throughout the West, north from western Alberta and southern British Columbia, south down the West Coast to Baja and east to eastern New Mexico and western Texas. They winter within most of the breeding range.
